Investing in Cannabis Industry: Alternatives

Investing in Cannabis Industry: Alternatives

There are more than 100 types of cannabis being produced around the world. If you’ve read about marijuana, probably you have found the words Indica, Sativa, and Hybrid, as they are the three most common species.

Indica, originally from the Hindukush mountain range of India, is believed to have a relaxing effect on the user. Sativa is a subspecies of the cannabis plant, grown for hemp fiber as well as for use in drugs, it has a more energizing effect. Hybrid is an offspring of both Indica and Sativa.

Here’s why investors are investing in Cannabis

In JuicyFields, we have studied the most popular types of marijuana (Indica, Sativa and Hybrid) to develop four special Juicy Categories to offer to our e-growers. We called them JuicyFlash, JuicyMist, JuicyKush and JuicyHaze and are only licensed varieties with high THC (cannabinoid). Each category has a distinct growing cycle and gives different profits depending on the size and quantity of the harvests.

We verify that each local partner (licensed grower) has the permission and certification to grow. We count on experienced partners located in strategic countries characterized by favorable climatic conditions, like Colombia, Portugal or Costa Rica. These characteristics allow plants to be harvested between 2-4 times a year, depending on the category.

Multiple options to invest in Cannabis

JuicyFlash

This one is prefered by new e-growers as it gives quick results and a demo to our service. It’s a non-renewable plant.

E-growers get the first and only harvest 108 days after purchasing the plant. While the e-growers gather their income from harvest, the producers and distributors use legal international networks of distribution to export the product to legal marijuana markets around the globe.

The expected profit of JuicyFlash is between €18 and €33. This means an expected profit between 36% and 66% after 108 days; considering the initial purchase of €50.

The next 3 Juicy Categories have a fixed price (for one plant clone) €2.000 regardless of the type and all offer renewal plants so they can be harvested multiple times.

JuicyMist

JuicyMist is characterized for having the fastest flowering period of all our categories. Harvests are a bit less frequent compared to JuicyKush or JuicyHaze. We advise to select this category to e-growers looking to withdraw their profits every 3 months.

It has a productivity of 4 harvests per year and lasts over 3 years. Considering an expected revenue of €300-€400 per harvest and 12 harvests during the plant’s life cycle, the total expected revenue is between €3600-€4800. That is, an expected profit that ranges between +80% and +140% in 3 years as the initial purchase would be €2.000 worth of cannabis. Calculations may vary from batch to batch as each harvest’s result may affect the end product and therefore the end sale price.

JuicyKush

By purchasing plants such as JuicyKush, the e-grower would expect a productivity of 3 harvests per year  and a lifespan of 4 years. Previous branch prices show that the expected selling price of this product is between €500-€750. Considering a total harvest of 12 per clone life’s cycle, the expected profit would be between €6.000-€9.000. Expected profit: between +67% and 3.5 times the investment in 4 years.

JuicyHaze

For users expecting higher profit percentages (and therefore more risk), JuiceHaze is the queen of high yields. By purchasing this category you get a 5 years 2-harvest-per-year cannabis plant that is expected to generate in revenue a total of €9.000-€12.000. People investing in medical cannabis prefer it. Expected profit: between 3.5 and 5 times the investment in 5 years.
